dont know about yalls experience with rockers..but even after torquing to spec,we roll the motor over a few times (...cheat using the starter and gas pedal 100%.. or do it by hand if you want to be proper)and re-torque... more often than not there are a few that are not to spec.roll over againretorque a 3rd time for good measure

That is good advice, but be sure to let the lifters sit for a few minutes before rolling the motor over, at least the shop manual says so.
